It's like a library, without the hot librarians
July 18, 2007
Formidable geeks Aaron Swartz and Brewster Kahle have led a team of nerds to create Open Library, which purports to be the start of a library of every book in the world. There’s a demo and a vision statement, in the form of a book, naturally. And here’s Tom Sawyer. That should keep you busy until the latest Harry Potter book is uploaded, which should happen any minute now.

This online Library is great.
I like the way it presents books instead of titles.
I think it is a great way to fill the growing void of demand that is left empty by local libraries.
