So, now that all the non-DRMed songs from the iTunes store will have your name embedded in them after download, how long until every illegally downloaded song's ID3 tags have "mbainwol@riaa.org" in the metadata?

I'm pretty sure the old DRM'd tracks also had your iTunes account information embedded in them.
No aspect of the current intellectual property struggle bothers me more than the implicit presumption by so many software makers and content providers that all consumers of media are information pirates and need to be treated as guilty until proven otherwise.
That aside, and wise providers have realized this, the money is only barely in content anymore, especially in music. Other revenue streams need to be exploited or created. The industry simply must change.
