Needless to say, after watching the first season of Lost as well as all the episodes of the season thus far, we've become fans of the series. I'm not a huge fanboy like some people, but it's cool enough. And hey -- an Indian guy in prime time!

So, it's fun to check out sites like oceanicairlines.com. Now I just have to figure out how to get rich by misleading ABC television viewers.

Anil,

As a paying customer of the company you currently work for who was fed up with being ignored and/or patronized by customer support people who didn't have a clue, I wrote you an email message outlining my difficulties with TypePad, hoping against hope that my cynicism about the level of attention you people have to spare for those of us who aren't "big names" would be disconfirmed, but it's clear now that my jaded attitude was the right one to take: a simple acknowledgment of my message was too much for you to make, let alone a response explaining what, if anything, was being done to alleviate my frustrations.

It's a damn shame that you guys seem to think one has to be a Brad DeLong to deserve any worthwhile attention from your direction, and from now on I'll be sure to do my best to let all prospective TypePad users know just how little they can expect to factor into SixApart's thinking. A company built on favorable word-of-mouth can just as easily be destroyed by the unfavorable, something no one in your management seems to grasp in the slightest.

Abiola, this is my personal blog, this post isn't about that topic, and I haven't seen the email you sent.

I'll see if I can find your message, and feel free to contact me at anil@sixapart.com if you'd like to continue this conversation. I'd be glad to have you compare my company's record, as well as my personal record, to the community participation and conversational record of any technology company and especially any other company that makes blogging software. In fact, I'd be excited for you to do so.
