Whenever I hear about what a great community-edited, user-contributed site Wikipedia is, I think about the unsung site that's just as much of a success: Urban Dictionary. Where else can you find definitions for meh and cool beans and thousands of obscure sexual practices of varying degrees of debauchery?
I guess because there's a lot of vulgarities and obscenities, and because it's a commercial site, it doesn't get a lot of press. And the way that people writing definitions adopt a faux-erudite tone when writing them is a little bit annoying. But damn if Urban Dictionary isn't entertaining, and it meets a need just as neatly as Wikipedia does.

From Urban Dictionary: chickenhead-
"a head bobbin skank hoe who be swallowin cum and mucus membrane for the simple reason of there being nuthing bettter to do or to get a crack hit or some extasy or some g or just to swallow some cum just for the good taste of it and the goood feeeling of the wind blowing through her hair when her head be bobbbin like a wild rooster fucking chicken"
Won't find that on Wikipedia!
Couldn't do without it.

You won't probably won't find that chickenhead definition on this site for much longer either. It just might be a little too profane...
My favorite is wonky.
"weird, whacked out, messed up, not working for no definable reason. Usually applied to technology."
Actually the Wikipedia doesn't do vulgarities and obscenities? This entry on Profanity includes links to articles which offer useful entries on many common words and phrases.

I was wondering what some of the more mature members here do about dating. It seems much harder for older singles to find a mate, so I might be turning to online dating for older singles.
any suggestions? thanks.
