Jeff's been doing some more thinking about how to protect bloggers from frivilous lawsuits from corporations. (Where are the tort reform extremists when it's corporations that are abusing the legal system?) I don't know if I agree 100% with his suggestion, but I like the motivation behind it and the attempt at creating a solution.

Honestly, I always thought that cutting and pasting copyrighted information to open it for discussion-which is the way the blogosphere works, especially blogs on political topics- is a moving target for lawsuits.
I agree about the tort law reform hypocricy of large corporations.
As for Kotte, it is a "high profile" matter so a lot of white shoe law firms may actually compete for pro bono rights.
