September 9, 2004

There is only so much room for innovation or creativity within these design constraints, it seems.

Amazing front page design. Brilliant

Interesting. I thought I had tabbed to a google result at first, took me a few moments to right myself and see it was Dash. Interesting idea, could fool some people but is pretty usable.

Hey Anil, Thanks for my chuckle for the day, but you may want to read this: http://arstechnica.com/news/posts/20040904-4158.html Although you may be okay because you parody the result, not the engine itself. It's not stealing a design if you do it in fun, right? :-)

Anil, you've inspired me! (Although mine is not really a re-design, it's just a cronjob with wget and sed.)

It took me a while to figure this one out. I clicked on the permalink to this entry from Bloglines. I was presented with a normal archive page with a somewhat ambiguous posting. Fortunately, the trackbacks did a better job of explaining what was going on and I eventually found the home page.

Now that I have finally seen it, though, it looks great. Nice work, Anil!

(btw, your comment preview is broken)

Nice trick. Now all you need is the Goooooooooooogle page device at the bottom to jump right into the middle of your archive. Or perhaps it should be Annnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnil.
