Where did you get the idea that popularity is easy? I've been nice to my mother in law for ten years and she's a bitch from hell. She's really pissed at the moment because I've outlived my cancer prognosis and I think she wants to sue the hospital for negligence.
The easy popularity you speak of comes to a time served blogger like yourself and is pretty hard for a newbie.

i started blogging to vent......and from no where i have an audience. i connected with them.........but i still blog only to be able talk- almost as if to myself. why people visit - i am stumped.
