One of them was going to be an anonymous parody of myself, a big purple blog with a bunch of posts about arcane details about New York City, some weblog triumphalism, and a sidebar of links all promoting Six Apart products.

And this is different than your normal site? Me thinks you should look up the word 'parody'.

But I thought the next Great Topical Convergence would be when "Queer Eye for the Straight Guy" does a makeover on a high-profile Blogging personality. And, considering they're based in the NYC area, and there is this infamous picture floating around the web of a SixApart employee wearing a Blogger t-shirt, well, Anil, you know what you gotta do.

I like the idea of prizes for guessing the references - kind of like what flavorpill does (they give away prizes if people can guess the theme to their credits each week).
