Feeding the Gold Box

Amazon has syndication feeds? So what? The current version inspires a big yawn. I don't want to subscribe to a category of products, I want to subscribe to my Gold Box. It's a well-defined list of items, updated on a regular schedule, and I want a reminder when it changes. Seems like a natural fit to me.

Did you see the feeds Chris and I did before Amazon released theirs? Ours has more info plus images. I'll see if the current Amazon API has hooks into the Gold Box and see if we can do custom feeds for those. Good idea!

The Gold Box is a useless piece of shit. Routinely, I find my Gold Box filled with just a random assortment of crap that has nothing to do with what I've bought or searched for. Why would anyone want a feed of what is basically Amazon's random clearance neurosis? Gold Box my patooey, more like the Tin Box, says I.
