simple pleasures

One of the best things about my job is that I get to go to conferences, meet interesting people, and then watch all their wifi-enabled laptops' screens turn blue-and-gray as they all log into their Movable Type screens so they can blog the event.
Makes me feel like I'm doing work that people actually appreciate.

Must be a super feeling indeed. To work in an area that you actually enjoy ! Not many people are fortunate enough to experience that joy... Also, while on the subject, MT is a boon to many of us. I already cannot imagine life without it... Soon, people will be sporting bumper stickers that say : "I blog, therefore I am" ! Keep up the good work...
Get paid to go to conferences...not a bad gig! But you are perfect for it--a blog ambassador.
I know the feeling. I always get a kick out of bloghopping and seeing the "Powered by BlogRolling" link. Too much fun.

When I finish my degree I want a job that I enjoy, I would sooner take less money for a good job than I would take higher money for bad job.
So for you to have a job that you enjoy and to know that what you and your SixApart chums do makes a real difference, then that must be very rewarding indeed.
