Just a heads-up on next week's magazine, I'll be posting the promised follow-up to Why Tablet PCs Will Succeed, explaining why weblogs are the Tablet PC's killer app, and why Microsoft can't admit that.

Also, I'll be posting here in response to a lot of great feedback I got on Introducing the Microcontent Client. If you haven't had a chance to check those pieces out, take the time, I'd love to hear more feedback.

But, what does it have to do with weblogging?

Good piece, Anil. I enjoyed reading it. I'm curious as to your opinions on a couple of things, though.

1) The tablet PC, based on your content, seems to be treading into a lot of the application of a PDA. I attend lots of meetings in lots of conference rooms and I'm seeing more and more PDAs, especially the Ipaqs, used instead of a laptop. Do you think the tablet will eclipse the PDA market or do you think they'll find some niches? Will users end up buying both, one or the other? The price points are certainly disparate at the moment.

2) All things related to applications and connectivity being equal, which would you rather use? A more portable PDA, or a larger-screened tablet unit? I ask because handwriting legal-pad applications as well as explorer and other office apps already run on the CE-equipped PDAs.
