What about a Word macro virus that searched all available drives for Word documents, converted them to HTML, and then propagated itself to as many other users as possible?

Or better yet, search all available drives for "HTML" documents authored using Microsoft products and convert them to HTML.
Brennan: that'd be a first, a helpful virus..
I'm with Brennan!
Oh, I was referring to the HTML output by the "filtered HTML" option in Office, which is actually pretty clean. But yeah, imagine if the virus output true HTML.
I love the idea of viruses that fix microsoft problems.
A *lot* of people don't have or don't know about the filtered html option.
How about converting all the docs to "rtf" and setting the default to save as RTF? That'd be cool too.
That's not a virus, that should be a feature...
I suggest: XML.
I'd be happy with one that renamed .htm files to .html.
