I've added a new section to this page, simply called Links. It's selections from the pages I visit during a day. If you find it interesting enough, let me know, and I'll make a version that loads in your browser's sidebar so you can click through them.

Yeah. I added a new frequently-updated section to my site because I'm lazy and wanted to be like a guy who started a blog a few years after I did.

the phrase "section to this page" made me look for the list on your index page. I didn't see the word "links" for some minutes.

I'm all for linking, and using an apposite or funny quote is a good way to do it.

Unless I came accross otherwise, let me write it in exact words: I appreciate what Anil is doing, "hyphaneted-American" or not. I won't mind a sidebar of quick-links. And just for usabilities sake, I think the name should be changed to "quick-links" (or even DashLite) instead of Links. Many are used to clicking on "links" and finding links to blogs/favorites etc. What Anil is posting are just quick pointers to other stuff on the web, not entirely a "favorites" kinda thing.

[Reading back, I think I have been corrupted by a month in Plastic. "Quicklinks" are those links-with-blurbs on the sidebar there.]

I've always enjoyed link sidebars, You can almost tell as much about someone from their history file as you can by reading their posts.

...It's a bit like going through someone's Internet dumpster. (Except cleaner, and not as stalker-chic)
